Exploring Fiordland - New Zealand

First thoughts you will have is to pack plenty because your away for quite a trip and it's so isolated and if you haven't got it your in trouble. Well in fact it's surprising to most how little of what they bring is actually used. Pack for a tramping trip and you're probably on track for what you need.

We supply most of the gear you need for activities (except diving) so you don't need all your fishing gear or tanks and weight-belts. In fact tanks and weight-belts are not allowed on the helicopter!

The vessels are perfectly suited to Fiordland and are very warm and dry. You only really need suitable extra clothing for outside activities relative to the season.

In all charters we supply bedding, towels and linen; meals, light refreshments and snacks (you need to bring any alcohol), dive tanks and weight belts (special conditions apply to diving) and some fishing equipment.

Remember, the less you bring the less you have to carry.
