When Richard Abernethy, or 'Abo' as he is more affectionately known, phoned me and mentioned he was interested in doing a promotional feature on his charter business in Fiordland, my mind started to race.

"Send someone down who fishes, dives and hunts. We'll fly them into Dusky Sound and spend a week on the Tutoko showing them what it's all about," Richard said. Without hesitation I replied, "That would be me!" - and I think my arm even involuntarily shot up, too.
